| Jame-ul-uloom
grows to serve.
Inspired by the successful functioning the
Jame-ul-uloom Institutions of Bangalore City, the trustees
started a residential school at Bannikuppe, which is 27
kms from Bangalore city. A 62 Acre land was bought, it was
a thorny land full of reptiles and with no sign of water
any where in the land. It is not that easy to run a residential
school but the perseverance, patience and sustained interest
could convert this land into a green field. Water is not
at all a problem today. There are five borewells, these
maintain the mango grooves, palm trees and the other agricultural
commodities. It is on this green land, the residential school
gets all facilities for the inmates. It has two dormitories
a beautiful mosque, number of classrooms and a big function
hall. Its dining hall can accommodate all 200 borders simultaneously.
It has a medical unit where a doctor pays visits regularly
for medical checkup.
